Well, once again we had a fabulous holiday and the weather was lovely. Kaprun really is a gem of a place and your place was again fantastic... can you keep the deposit as we will be booking next year- just tell us how much we owe to secure the deposit for two weeks next year. Sounds really funny but this is the first place we've been to that feels like home- we're missing it already!

There are certainly enough home comforts to keep a family occupied. The service provided by yourselves and Ika was excellent and made the holiday more enjoyable.

We have arrived home after a wonderful week in Kaprun. The house was really clean and spacious and the views were amazing. I will recommend it to our friends and family without hesitation. We visited the Krimmler Wasserfalle and Sigmund Thun Klamm- See and the Mooserbodensee - all were really interesting and beautiful. Kaprun was so pretty. We would love to return in the future. The weather was great - 34 o C most days, which made our summer.

Just wanted to drop you a line (or two) to let you know that we all had such a fabulous holiday in Kaprun. The house was so big that even with six of us everyone had plenty of room. You have designed it perfectly and thought of everything for the Summer or Winter visitor. Our weather was very mixed with hailstones to heat but it didn't stop us enjoying the wonderful scenery and getting so close to nature from rafting the water to playing in the snow on the mountain's peak.

The house was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable and I had no idea that the immediate area around Kaprun had so much to offer. Your chalet made an excellent and comfortable base for a fantastic fortnight where we walked on glaciers, swam in lakes, climbed through gorges, took cable cars up mountains and visited spectacular waterfalls. The ages of our party ranged from 3 to 71 and we all had a brilliant time.

Just like to say the time we had in kaprun was fantastic. From the minute we arrived we were greeted to a loving smile that of the house keeper( i forgot her name). The house was brilliant especially the beds, by god they were comfy. We tried to fit the bed in our suitcase but it would have been a bit dodgy as the car we got was like a cardborad box! The skiing was brilliant
especially up at the glacier, and it was so nice that there were bars in and dotted around the town for apres ski. So just a quick thank you and we look forward to revisiting kaprun next year.

Thanks again for the wonderful stay we had in your very special place. It's one of the extremely few holiday homes in Austria that is large enough to accomodate eight people. Apart from that it is apparent that a lot of personal love and care went into the selection of furniture, appliances and entertainment. The view across the valley with its castle, up the slopes of Schmitten Höhe and even a wedge of lake Zell to the right is a rare pearl even for alpine standards. Together with the proximity to the bus stop and the town centre of Kaprun it all adds up to a fantastic and totally recommendable venue!

Just a note to let you know that we are back in SA and are missing our Tyrolean lodgings! We really enjoyed our stay, which was made all the better for going self-catered. Your place is lovely; the pictures on the website do not do it full justice. Everyone was blown away by how clean and modern it was, not one of us expected the luxury of having a TV in every room plus a great plasma screen TV & entertainment system and 4 toilets (this is great when you have 7 people)!

We thought Kaprun was a nice village, and the people open and friendly. Kaprun is a good centre for skiing the various pistes in the area, the buses well organised and the taxis good value; we would definitely consider going back, in which case we will of course contact you.

We have just got back from an absolutely fantastic holiday - the house was gorgeous, it is the best we have ever stayed in. The layout of the house was absolutely perfect and such a fantastic location. The attention to detail on every level was second to none. No wonder you are fully booked all the time. It was such a relaxed atmosphere that none of us wanted to come home. Everybody had such a brilliant time, especially Lowri when she met Risto, she absolutely loved him and he was brilliant with her, I think he has made a friend for life. She has been teaching him to count in Welsh! Claire, Ian and I all had great lessons with him, but the best was when he took Lowri out for 2 mornings. She is going to be a really good skier with him. We now need to work out your availability for next year as we would like to hire the house for 2 weeks...

Firstly, can I say again how much we enjoyed staying in Schmitten View. The property was ideal for 5 adults, 3 of whom were singles. There was plenty of space which meant we weren't falling over each other all the time. The condition of the villa was perfect and everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were among the most comfortable we'd slept in, and the furniture was more than adequate for our storage needs. The kitchen area was lovely, and when it was too cold to eat out, was very comfortable and larger than we had imagined from the pictures on your web-site. The en-suites were wonderful (!) and provided enough space for us all, giving us plenty of privacy, especially with the extra 2 toilets. To have washing and drying facilities on site was a real bonus, and we all came home with very little washing to do.

We had a superb time at your holiday home. We were surprised at how cosy, spacious and well fitted the rooms were. The kitchen and bathrooms are well fitted out and the whole building was very clean and tidy. The tv, music centre, games room and in particular the washing machine and dryer were very much appreciated.
The view from the bedrooms of the mountains we found quite spectacular, with the rear garden a good space for our younger grandchildren to play safely. We were very comfortable and enjoyed a Christmas that we will remember for a long time. We rate your holiday home as a first class place to stay.
We found the attractive town centre, with its numerous eating places and superb shops, supermarket and beginners ski centre, very conveniently situated.
We were also surprised to find the main supermarket open every day, stocking everything we needed.
The ski slopes for the grandchildren and the novice learners were easily accesible within Kaprun and ski runs for the experienced grownups only a short drive away. We found numerous places of interest to visit to satisfy all our ages and tastes .
We all had a very enjoyable time, and would recommend your house to family and friends.
