What is the maximum number of people allowed in the house??

The villa holds 8 people in 3 bedrooms comfortably, plus a fold down bed. There is also a cot for a baby, making nine people in total.

Are smoking or pets allowed??

For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited within the villa which is fitted with smoke detectors which are linked to our security company. No pets are allowed.

How far to the ski bus??

The winter village bus stop is 50m from the house. This takes you to the village where you can ski on the Maiskogel or catch a bus to the Glacier or Zell. The village bus usually runs from Christmas to the middle of April (or Easter if sooner) The nearest Ski bus stop is 3-400M from the house

How do we locate/enter the property??

Directions and keypad entry code will be sent to you 2-3 weeks before arrival.

Will we have to bring bed linen/towels etc??

The villa is fully equipped for all your likely holiday requirements. Bed linen and towels are provided. A small initial supply of washing powder/dish washer powder/toilet rolls etc. is provided which you will need to top-up as required.

Are there shops nearby??

The house is only 700m from the village centre where you will find a supermarket and many other shops.

Are there any restaurants nearby??

The nearest restaurant is only 100m away and there is a large choice in the village.

Are there any medical services nearby??

There is a doctor and chemist in the village and Zell hospital has excellent facilities.(Unfortunately we can vouch for that!)

What services are provided??

The house is professionally cleaned to an exceptional standard prior to your arrival and the garden is tended to regularly.

How do we book??

Completing the on-line booking form is the most convenient way but you can also email/phone or write if you prefer.

Do we need a car??

It is not vital to have a car, but recommended. Having a car is so much more convenient and offers more freedom. Driving is easy and relaxed in Austria.

Do we pay extra for the equipment in the house??

Currently you do not need to pay for any addional items in the house

Does the house back on to other properties/walls etc??

Unlike some holiday homes which back on to other properties and walls etc, the home has stunning unrestricted views across the fields to the mountains, the castle and the village.

Do you have any facilities for small children??

The house is well equipped for small children. The home comes complete with a cot and highchair. It will not be possible for a small child to open the doors to the balconies. We even provide a baby listening monitor and a bottle warmer.

What entertainment is provided??

For young children there is a selection of games, for example darts, table football, Playstation and DVDs. For the older children and adults there is a games room and sauna.

What if your rental home is not available or I require additional accommodation??

No problem - we know several other owners in the Kaprun area who have similar quality accommodation. We will be happy to direct you to them and help in any way we can. The house next door also accommodates 8 people, so we can take up to 16 + 2 babies if they are both available!

Are there any additional costs??

Each person age 15 or older must pay 1.15 Euros or £1.00 per day tourist tax by law. We will collect this with your holiday balance. As indicated in the prices section of the website, there is a cleaning charge, the price of which varies according to the number of guests in the chalet.

Do you have internet access??

Yes - If you bring your own laptop, we have wireless internet connection with an excellent signal. The necessary access codes and passwords will be provided for you on arrival.
